As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide specialty tax advisory services to our Private Enterprise, High-Net worth and Family Office, and Professional clients. This is a predominantly advisory role as tax compliance is handled by other teams.Our day-to-day advisory includes, but not limited to –Family trust and estate planningMerger and Acquisition transactionsCRA audit support and dispute resolutionCorporate restructuring; andCompensation planningAs part of a small team, you’ll work directly with our partners and business leaders providing a development rich environment and direct room for advancement.MNP is proudly Canadian. management presentations and high-quality deliverablesEvaluate existing business processes and policies and advise on policy and tax changes; developing proactive tax strategies that make effective use of business opportunities and ensure businesses are run effectivelyLiaise with Canada Revenue Agency and relevant provincial ministries on client issuesReview election forms required in corporate reorganizationsAccountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (i.E. budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection and variance recognition)Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business, financial entries and reportsNetwork in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needsContribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processesMentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviewsMaintain flexibility to travel,
