We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Persian Speaking Home Support Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and assistance to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your energetic approach and positive attitude will help create a supportive setting for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or dementia care.

Fluency in Persian is essential to effectively communicate and build trusting relationships with clients and their families. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and rewarding setting.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care tailored to each individual's needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Assist with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
Prepare nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences of clients
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a protected living environment




Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to promote independence and prevent falls
Monitor health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging atmosphere

Skills
Fluent in Persian with excellent verbal communication skills
Prior experience in assisted living, home care, nursing home settings, or senior care preferred
Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks efficiently and safely
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility challenges
Understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
