We are seeking a friendly and qualified Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring they receive exceptional guest services and a positive experience from the moment they arrive. This role is essential in maintaining smooth restaurant operations and fostering a hospitable setting.

Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred, but a strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills are essential.

Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow
Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assist with inquiries, and take reservations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service




Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously and promptly
Assist with other front-of-house duties to support overall restaurant operations

Skills
Robust guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Previous experience in serving, hospitality, or food service preferred
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of restaurant operations
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Qualified phone etiquette for reservation calls and guest inquiries
Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous but not required
Ability to work well as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude at all times
