Duties
Safely operate your own commercial truck to transport freight throughout Washington and Oregon, adhering to all federal and state regulations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, including basic automotive repairs if required.
Manage documentation related to shipments, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and compliance paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and protected work environment by following safety protocols and conducting routine vehicle inspections.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within regional routes in WA/OR.
Basic automotive repair knowledge.
Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks related to freight handling.
