Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and oversee full-cycle union and non-union payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle union and non-union payroll processing.
Lead and support the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll.
Oversee timesheet audits, payroll adjustments, advantages, vacation payouts, deductions, and remittances.
Manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processes.
Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Resolve complex employee and government payroll inquiries.
Partner with HR and management on payroll-related matters.
Skills and Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Payroll, or a related field; CPA is an asset.
8–10+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory/management role.
Robust experience with unionized and high-volume payroll.
Knowledge of Canadian and interprovincial payroll.
ADP Workforce Now experience required; Jonas experience is an asset.
Solid leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
