The Recreation Facility Operator I reports to the Manager of Recreation Operations and supports indoor and outdoor facilities, including the Centennial Outdoor Rink. You will help maintain equipment, perform cleaning tasks, and ensure safety during public use, all while working in a physically demanding setting.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist with cleaning and maintenance duties • Set up and take down equipment for events • Operate ice resurfacers and maintain ice conditions • Promote safe use of facilities and grounds • Transfer and replace garbage and recycling

Requirements: • Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver Licence • No experience required; training provided • Solid communication skills • Ability to perform physically demanding work • Willingness to work irregular shifts
