Become a Recreation Therapist at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, specializing in care for patients with complex mental illnesses. In this role within the Forensic Rehabilitation Unit, you will engage in creating and evaluating individualized recreation programs that support recovery and rehabilitation.

Your expertise will help patients develop essential social skills while working closely with an interdisciplinary team to implement their treatment plans effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' therapeutic recreation needs
Implement and manage individual and group programs
Collaborate with health specialists on care strategies




Monitor and report on patient participation and progress
Uphold best practices in therapeutic recreation Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Therapeutic Recreation
At least 2 years of related experience
Required current TRO membership, preferred registration
Sound knowledge of mental illness recovery practices
