As part of a close-knit estimating group, you'll report to the Director of Construction and take full ownership of your projects from start to finish. With a focus on design/build and bid-spec initiatives, your role is vital in driving project success. Key Responsibilities:
Develop full mechanical takeoffs for HVAC and piping scopes
Analyze drawings and specifications, generating RFIs for scope gaps
Level and negotiate subtrade and vendor quotations
Formulate competitive and accurate bid packages
Collaborate with project managers on design/build projects Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years estimating experience with mechanical contractors
Skilled in tools like FastPIPE and eTakeoff
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Solid grasp of the Ontario Building Code
