experiences and beliefsWhat you will be doing:You will be a welcomed member of the Aspira Management team and impact in the following ways:Ensure resident’s needs are assessed; develop service plans of care and determine corresponding care fees and team member requirements as applicableMonitor all resident incidents and direct team members regarding interventions to prevent reoccurrence as applicableMonitor the quality indicators and evaluates nursing and related services to ensure quality of resident care. (Falls, Behaviours, Infection Control etc.)Responsible for departmental recruitment, selection, orientation, development, scheduling and performance management of Guest Attendants, Unregulated Care Providers, and Registered Practical Nurses.Develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with hospital team members and our home and community care partners. Participate in marketing outreach such as presentations on wellness services and aging in place philosophy, and interview prospective residents conducting assessments to determine suitability for admissionParticipate in the preparation of the department budget and administer the approved budget within established parametersWhat you need to know:An exceptional manager with a demonstrated track record of delivering results and continuously improving performanceA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)Valid First Aid CPR/Basic Life SupportYou have good judgement, the ability to identify risk and can foster a positive work environmentCan demonstrate strong technology skills in Microsoft Office suite programsYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permitYou must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records CheckSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this positionSienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
