Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and equipment to identify mechanical issues or potential failures
Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance using hand tools and power tools
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference
Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to ensure a safe working setting
Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime across operations
Experience
Proven experience working as a mechanic or in a similar hands-on technical role
Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and machinery types
Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for repair tasks
Familiarity with power tools including drills, grinders, impact wrenches, etc., for effective maintenance work
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting mechanical issues
Good communication skills to document work performed clearly and collaborate effectively with team members
