Dalhousie University seeks a Research Technician to oversee the marine biogeochemistry lab in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will report to the Principal Investigators, coordinating day-to-day laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities include inventory management, training staff and students, and participating in field sampling and data analysis to support multiple projects effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily lab operations and compliance requirements
Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and scheduling
Conduct fieldwork and support various research initiatives




Train colleagues on lab techniques and safety procedures
Handle administrative tasks related to budgeting and reporting Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in oceanography, biology, or related field
Robust organizational and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with laboratory safety standards
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
