Become a vital member of Stantec’s Site Investigation and Remediation team in Saskatchewan as a mid-level Environmental Scientist. This role merges outdoor field tasks with safety leadership. In this position, you will execute contaminated site projects, managing various field tasks including drilling operations and sampling for soil and groundwater. Under the guidance of project managers, you will also provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to developing project scopes.
Your role supports environmental protection and community health. Key Responsibilities:
Lead field tasks for soil and groundwater investigations
Ensure safety compliance on all site projects
Mentor junior environmental specialists in the field
Collaborate with project managers on instructions
Analyze data and write comprehensive technical reports Requirements:
Degree in Environmental Science or related field
At least three years of fieldwork experience necessary
Robust analytical and writing skills required
Prepare to travel for site work, often on short notice
