Provide specialized nursing care as a Mental Health Nursing Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. Work collaboratively with health teams in diverse environments across Canada and on operations. As a key member of the healthcare team, Mental Health Nursing Officers deliver nursing care in mental health settings for ill and injured CAF members.
This role allows specialists to engage in crisis management, case coordination, and consulting services. Officers may also partake in policy management and educational training, enhancing overall care delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care in mental health settings
Coordinate case management for patients
Provide crisis intervention and consulting services
Engage in policy and program management
Conduct education and training initiatives Requirements:
Registered Nurse license in a Canadian province
Civilian nursing experience in mental health
Completion of formal mental health nursing course
Relevant certifications as required
Willingness to work part time or relocate Make a significant impact in mental health nursing with the Canadian Armed Forces.
