Become a Protection Support Worker with NEOFACS in Timmins, offering essential preventative services to children and families. Engage in meaningful interventions to support those in care. In this full time role, you’ll join the Investigation, Assessment, and Ongoing team to deliver protective services for individuals connected with child protection.
Your communication and organizational skills will be key as you navigate flexible schedule and travel requirements. A strong understanding of legislative specifics will enhance your capacity to fulfill the position's responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide protective intervention services for children and families
Support children who are under the Agency’s care
Work within a team dedicated to assessments and interventions
Understand and apply relevant legislative guidelines
Maintain clear and accountable documentation Requirements:
College Diploma in Human Services is mandatory
Willingness to work flexible schedule and travel as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
G2 driver's license required; G Class preferable
Bilingual (English/French) is an added advantage Support the well-being of youth and families through focused intervention as a Protection Support Worker at NEOFACS.
