Duties
Assemble mattress components using woodworking, machining, and assembly techniques to ensure durability and comfort
Operate power tools, hand tools, CNC machines, and forklifts safely and efficiently during the manufacturing process
Measure materials accurately with calipers and other measuring devices to maintain precise specifications
Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials to support assembly lines and production flow
Follow safety protocols consistently while working with machinery, tools, and heavy equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize assembly procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production line
Experience
Prior experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments is highly desirable
Proficiency with forklift operation, CNC machinery, power tools, hand tools, and machining processes
Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, fabrication, or mechanical systems
Warehouse experience including heavy lifting and material handling is a plus
Familiarity with calipers or other precision measurement tools for quality control
Solid understanding of safety procedures in industrial or manufacturing settings
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
