APEX is looking for a driven Senior Manufacturing Engineer to enhance operations within its Aerospace Component Manufacturing Group. This full time position is centered on continuous improvement and hands-on problem-solving on the manufacturing floor. The successful candidate will report to the Group Manager, guiding projects related to CNC machining, automation technologies, and KPI development.
This role requires a proactive spirit, able to lead teams to implement sustainable operational improvements that elevate overall performance standards. You will collaborate with supervisors, programmers, and production teams to achieve excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancements
Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Evaluate technology integration and automation strategies
Create business cases for process improvements
Lead KPI development and data analysis efforts Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge of AI tools and digital solutions an asset
