Previous experience in fine jewellery sales or repair is strongly preferred, and candidates with backgrounds in luxury retail, real estate and client relations will be especially valued.

Key Responsibilities
Assist our head Sales Associate with duties relevant to the sales floor.
Assist the head Sales Associate with inventory sales presentations, processing sales transactions, and gift-wrapping, etc.
Assist customers with the initial intake of jewellery for repair and accurately recording descriptions, photographing items, and describing work needed using a specialized computer program (training provided).
Assist customers when picking up completed repairs, answering any questions, and processing payment.
Work within the team to complete daily tasks associated with store presentation and jewellery display.
Communicate professionally in person, by email and by phone.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Stay informed of store policies, procedures, and promotions.
Monitor and maintain packaging supplies, shopping bags,



and presentation materials
Help to coordinate and execute window displays and seasonal merchandising updates
Work collaboratively within the team to achieve sales goals while contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture

Ideal Candidate Attributes
Previous experience in fine jewellery, luxury retail, real estate, or other client-focused sales environments
Mature, dependable, and looking for a long-term position
Naturally positive, personable, and confident interacting with discerning clientele
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of simple jewellery repair, metals, and stones

At Barclay’s Fine Jewellers, you’ll have the prospect to work with exceptional jewellery collections in an intimate and elevated boutique environment while helping clients celebrate some of life’s most meaningful moments. This is a full-time position. Our hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5:15pm.
