Kazmi Law Office is hiring a full-time legal assistant to cover a one-year maternity leave.

Company Description

Kazmi Law Office is a small law firm located in NW Calgary. Our primary areas of practice are residential and commercial real estate, corporate law, and wills and estates.

:

As a Legal Assistant you would be responsible for
Client intake procedures
Corresponding with clients, lenders, realtors
Conveyancing of real estate files including preparing mortgages
Corporate minute book maintenance including filing annual returns and annual resolutions
General administrative duties
Bookkeeping, and organizing and maintaining files

The Ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:
Excellent customer service skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and PC Law/Soluno




Solid English language communication skills (written and oral)
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to take initiative and ability to multitask
Work with minimal supervision
Good time management skills
Ability to learn quickly
High atttention to detail

Requirements:
Legal Assistant Diploma (or work experience in lieu of diploma)
Minimum two years of office experience in residential real estate conveyancing
Experience with PC Law
