We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. Responsibilities
Safely operate long-haul trucks across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance or safety issues
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
legally able to enter USA for for work purposes
clean Criminal Record Check
Pass a DOT Drug/Alcohol Test
Acceptable Driving Abstract
2 years of verifiable experience
Experience in commercial driving, preferably with long-haul routes through Canada & the USA
Knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently over extended periods on the road
Physical capability to handle freight, operate heavy equipment, and perform vehicle inspections as needed
