Canak Industries is a machine shop located in Edmonton who is looking for a helper within the shop.
We are looking for the an individual who can work independently but also in a team, is driven and punctual. The successful candidate should be able to work in fast paced setting and be able to mult-task.
The job duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining general cleanliness of the shop (includes but not limited to keeping machines maintained, mowing the lawn, sweeping, numerous small tasks)
Assisting in preparation of shipments and receiving of materials
Operating forklift
Operating metal cutting saw and marking and moving materials accordingly
Forklift experience is an asset. There is opportunity to advance in the machining trade.
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
