We are looking for hard working, dedicated, punctual individuals who are looking for a permanent prospect with potential for growth working. We are currently looking to grow our team, searching for people to operate our automatic machines (training provided).

Prepare, Pack, Stack and Label Finished Goods for all Products. Fill out Production Reports and Time Sheets. Clean all machines, tools and work area daily. Keep work area neat and organized at all times. Assist other Machine Operators. Any other Duties as Directed by their Supervisor. Conduct and Record all Quality Checks as prescribed by the Quality Dept.
Straight Day shift; 7:30 am to 4:00 pm; Mon-Fri.

The job: · Operating an automatic machine

· Checking parts for defects or flaws

· Fast paced setting

· Overtime opportunities available

· Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle

· Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)

· Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines

· Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools

· Test operation of machines periodically

· Fix issues that might occur during the shift





· Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws

· Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

· Maintain activity logs Requirements

· Proven experience as a machine operator

· Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)

· Understanding of production procedures

· Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)

· Attention to detail

· Teamwork and communication skills

· Physical stamina and strength

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus

· Lift 15 to 20 lbs.

Qualifications:

· Reliable & dependent, Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle

· Willingness to learn

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Ability to perform work that is repetitive in nature

· Machine operating experience not required but would be considered an asset

· Safety boots/shoes

REPORTS TO: Supervisor

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
