Responsibilities
Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of lumber throughout the Mill and production processes.
Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in millwork dimensions
Support carpentry and woodworking tasks, including trimming, sanding, and assembling wood pieces
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in warehouse operations
Follow safety protocols when handling power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to quality standards
Experience
Prior experience working in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with warehouse operations and handling warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices preferred
Background in carpentry or woodwork demonstrates strong craftsmanship skills
Ability to work safely around machinery and follow detailed instructions diligently
