The Equipment

Officer role encompasses developing work criteria for major equipment overhauls and leading design recommendations for current fleet acquisitions, ensuring optimal operations. Key Responsibilities:
Define requirements for procurement of fleet equipment
Suggest designs for recent locomotives and coaches
Create and implement maintenance schedules
Chair major modifications of equipment
Assist maintenance contractors with technical queries Requirements:
Diploma in related Engineering Technology field
Proven experience in railway operations and maintenance
Ability to interpret complex technical drawings
Valid Ontario class “G” driver’s licence
Microsoft Office Suite experience, PowerBI is a plus Utilize your skills in equipment oversight and maintenance regulations to support the growth of Metrolinx.
