We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our daily‑dispense senior patients each Sunday morning. This is a stress‑free, predictable 3‑hour morning role ideal for an LPN who enjoys calm routines and patient‑centered care.
Responsibilities
Provide morning support for seniors receiving daily‑dispensed medications
Administer medications safely and accurately
Perform injections (B12, long‑acting antipsychotics, diabetes meds, vaccines, etc.)
Complete basic wellness checks (vitals, symptoms, safety observations)
Document care clearly and promptly
Communicate concerns to the pharmacist or care team
Maintain a respectful, supportive approach with all patients
Requirements
Current LPN registration with BCCNM (in good standing)
Injection‑certified
Minimum 1 year of experience with seniors, community care, or medication administration
Robust understanding of medication safety
Able to work independently
Explicit criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
Preferred Experience
Community nursing or home‑care background
Experience with chronic disease management
Comfort supporting patients with cognitive challenges
