Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in daily kitchen operations,



including cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance.

Requirements
Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred.
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food service operations.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Solid teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
