We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support the cooking team
Maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene in accordance with safety regulations
Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to promote a safe and efficient workspace
Serve food to customers or assist with food service operations as needed
Follow all food safety protocols and proper storage procedures for ingredients and leftovers
Contribute positively to team efforts by communicating effectively and supporting a collaborative environment

Qualifications




Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety standards
Familiarity with food handling procedures and hygiene practices in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
Solid communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Basic understanding of serving practices and customer service principles is advantageous
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings as required
