Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and effective environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards
Support chefs and cooks with basic cooking duties as needed
Organize and restock supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Dispose of waste properly and ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers
Follow all safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently
Help with dishwashing and cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic workspace




Assist in setting up dining areas or catering events if required

Qualifications
Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
Valuable physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
Basic knowledge of food safety standards is a plus
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
