We are seeking an IT Business Architect to lead an initial 2-month planning phase to evaluate, simplify, and modernize our technology estate. you will build detailed capability models, map application portfolios, interview cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver actionable recommendations for application consolidation and enterprise AI adoption. Successful delivery in planning phase will convert this engagement into a 1-year contract with potential for long-term renewal.
Key Responsibilities
Build granular domain capability maps to drive targeted investment and retirement decisions.
Map applications to business capabilities to identify redundancies, coverage gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
Interview stakeholders across all organizational levels to establish accurate current-state operations.
Recommend application consolidation, simplification, and retirement strategies with transparent, quantified business value.
Identify high-impact enterprise AI opportunities, defining data needs, governance rules, and expected value.
Requirements & Key Qualifications
8+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or technology strategy consulting.
Solid familiarity with Salesforce and marketing technology products.
Proven track record building business capability models that actively drove client portfolio decisions.
Demonstrated ability to attach explicit financial value and quantifiable assumptions to strategic recommendations.
Practical understanding of applied enterprise AI, including data requirements and governance impacts.
Strong technical literacy to review architecture diagrams and collaborate with integration architects.
Exceptional writing skills to deliver standalone, executive-ready documentation.
