Our company is looking for a skilled Janitorial Cleaner to join our growing team. This will be an afternoon shift between 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical skills, robust work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal abilities. We're seeking a candidate who takes pride in their work, respects the spaces they clean, and contributes positively to the overall atmosphere of the setting they serve.
The successful candidate must complete a police background check to meet security requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed
Manage routine upkeep of interior areas
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
Gather and empty trash
Service, clean, and supply restrooms
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
Skills/Abilities:
Janitorial experience is considered as asset
Willingness to work afternoon shifts
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Capacity to take direction
Solid attention to detail
Comfortable working in setting with stairs
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds as necessary
Follow all health and safety regulations
Must be able to complete a police background check to meet security requirements.
