UHN is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner for its Pediatric Aftercare Program at Princess Margaret Hospital. This part time position involves working with cancer survivors to enhance their well-being.You will focus on issues like anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships, helping young patients adjust after cancer treatment. With a commitment to patient-centered care, you will utilize evidence-based strategies and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive care for each survivor.



Occasional virtual visits will complement your in-person consultations.Key Responsibilities:Provide care in a weekly Survivorship ClinicDevelop follow-up plans in line with oncology guidelinesShare findings with primary care and specialty teamsArrange necessary investigations and specialist referralsWork collaboratively with the SickKids Aftercare teamRequirements:Licensed to practice in Ontario, good standing with CPSOExperience in cancer care within acute settingsStrong commitment to effective and compassionate careAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationshipsSupport young cancer survivors as they transition to healthy lives at UHN.#J-18808-Ljbffr
