Barrier Group is looking for Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters for shop and field work. We are looking for outgoing, adaptable individuals looking to learn and grow within our team and industry.

Key Responsibilities
Interpret isometric drawings accurately for fabrication purposes
Align and secure pipes in accordance with isometric drawings
Arrange and mark pipes for precision cutting
Operate manual or semi-automatic flame cutting equipment
Utilize hoisting and lifting equipment effectively
Operate welding machines that have been pre-set
Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with Barrier Group’s safe work practices, policies, and procedures
Ability to identify hazards
Report all incidents, near misses and equipment damage to supervision
Assist with other duties as required

Requirements:




Possession of a Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or valid Apprenticeship Ticket
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license
CSTS or PCST Certification
WHMIS 2015 certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Robust interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture
Must be dependable
Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
