Duties
Operate equipment such as skid steers to assist with site preparation and landscape installation projects
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure productive watering of landscaped areas
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, edging, and other landscaping tasks
Conduct gardening activities such as soil preparation, fertilization, mulching, and pest control to promote plant health
Assist with construction activities like building retaining walls, pathways, or garden features using appropriate tools and techniques
Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure all machinery operates smoothly and safely
Experience
Prior experience in landscape maintenance or construction is highly preferred
Familiarity with operating tools & equipment is a plus
Knowledge of irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and general gardening techniques
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on tools and equipment
Hands-on experience with hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers)
Strong understanding of landscape maintenance procedures and safety protocols
Construction experience involving site preparation or installation projects is advantageous
