Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Journeyman/woman Automotive Technician to join our agile team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in automotive service.
Duties
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on both domestic and imported vehicles using schematics and technical manuals
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems
Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance procedures
Maintain detailed repair records and communicate findings clearly to customers
Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as needed for repair or inspection purposes
Skills
Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base
Skilled in welding, using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing maintenance tasks that require strength and stamina
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures across various vehicle makes and models
Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics systems and electronic troubleshooting
