Responsibilities You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and industrial equipment while supporting safe, reliable production operations. What’s in it for you:

Electrician Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control panels
Respond to equipment breakdowns and electrical failures to minimize downtime
Complete preventative and predictive maintenance
Diagnose electrical issues and ensure safety and control systems operate correctly
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems
Install conduits, power distribution systems, and new electrical equipment
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
Troubleshoot electrical components associated with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems




Assist with equipment installation and commissioning
Maintain accurate documentation of completed electrical work
Follow electrical codes, safety procedures, and PPE requirements

Electrician Qualifications:
Valid 442A Industrial Electrician licence
Completed Certificate of Apprenticeship (CofA)
Strong PLC troubleshooting knowledge and hands-on experience
Industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a heavy manufacturing workplace is mandatory
Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
