Drive Industrial Hygiene programs at Coeur Mining’s Current Afton mine, located in beautiful British Columbia. Contribute to a secure workplace by managing health and safety initiatives and compliance. As part of the Health and Safety team, you will oversee programs designed to identify and control workplace health hazards.
Your role encompasses conducting exposure surveys, managing hazardous materials, and developing training across site operations. Collaborate within a culture that values safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement while working on the forefront of responsible mining practices. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive exposure surveys and analyses
Develop Industrial Hygiene Reports with corrective actions
Lead the site’s Industrial Hygiene monitoring committee
Coordinate medical surveillance related to exposure
Implement and manage the Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Database Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
At least 5 years in Health & Safety or Industrial Hygiene
Certification in Industrial Hygiene is preferred
Proficient with monitoring equipment and software
Robust planning and communication abilities Excel in maintaining occupational health standards at Coeur Mining while supporting the safety of all employees in a vibrant community.
