Duties include crisis management, conflict resolution, and liaising with external agencies. Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls and assess crisis situations
Welcome recent clients and create safety plans
Ensure a secure setting through monitoring
Arrange transportation services for clients
Maintain accurate records and reports Requirements:
Diploma in human/social services or equal experience
Recent related work experience preferred
Certification in Intermediate First Aid
Must provide a suitable Criminal Records Check
Union membership required Support survivors of domestic violence and contribute to their journey toward safety at the Kelowna Women’s Shelter.
