Indigenous families by providing critical services and assessments. This full time unionized role emphasizes cultural competence and is suited for candidates with a B.S.W. or related degree and two years of experience. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, facilitate moments of crisis, and collaborate with service providers to ensure the well-being of children and families. Your commitment will help uphold Native values in community service. Key Responsibilities:
Gather information for children's safety assessments
Intervene in crisis situations involving children
Coordinate internal and external services for families
Develop Customary Care Agreements with families
Prepare court materials and participate as a witness Requirements:
Accredited B.S.W. or relevant experience
Two years'
experience in Child and Family wellbeing
Valid Driver's License required
Knowledge of Indigenous Peoples' history
Robust written and interpersonal skills Empower Indigenous communities with culturally grounded support as part of Native Child.
