Houle seeks an Indigenous Partnerships Manager to lead engagement strategies from the Burnaby office. Focus on creating shared value for Indigenous communities through collaboration. As the Indigenous Partnerships Manager, your role is to develop and maintain essential relationships with Indigenous Nations and organizations across British Columbia and Alberta.
You will play a key role in fostering economic development and ensuring participation in community projects. Collaborating with various stakeholders will be essential for project success and integration of Indigenous objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with Indigenous businesses and leaders
Lead collaborations for Indigenous participation and procurement
Support strategic planning for economic growth initiatives
Work with teams to integrate Indigenous engagement goals
Advise on cultural and legal aspects of partnerships
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years in Indigenous partnerships or community development
Education in Indigenous Studies, Business, or related fields
Familiarity with Indigenous issues in BC and Alberta
Robust relationship-building and negotiation skills
Industry experience in construction or engineering is a plus
