Your role involves working with an interdisciplinary team to offer emotional and practical guidance. You'll engage with clients directly and facilitate their access to resources while also participating in the residential program’s development. Evening and weekend shifts are required, contributing to vital stabilization and recovery efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver peer support based on your lived experience
• Assist with crisis intervention and risk management plans
• Facilitate psycho-education groups for participants
• Navigate resource connections for clients
• Provide medication and monitor withdrawal symptoms
Requirements:
• Lived experience of addiction and recovery
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Experience in crisis support and outreach services
• Vulnerable Sector Clearance required
• Reliable vehicle with proper insurance needed
