Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 5 roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers across designated routes in
Perform heavy lifting of waste bins and containers, ensuring secure loading and unloading procedures
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness before each shift
Maintain accurate logs of pickups, drop-offs, and route details for record-keeping purposes
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any operational issues promptly
Assist with general site cleanup and ensure the work area remains safe and organized at all times
Skills
Proven experience in driving heavy trucks, particularly Class 5 roll-off vehicles or similar equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling waste containers or related materials
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial vehicle operation
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and dispatchers effectively
