We are hiring a Grocery Clerk to join our great team at Lina's Italian SuperMercato! The hire will be responsible for coordinating with the grocery manager, stocking shelves, helping with inventory and with receiving. Plus, will make sure the operations of the grocery department are working.

Main duties
Follows up with Supervisors to ensure communication cascade for evening /weekend huddles and timely updates as required.
Stocking and facing shelves.
Helps the receiver / receiving process.
Ensures tasks get accomplished in a timely fashion.
Ensures that backroom inventory management is always to standard
Proactively engages customers with increased focus during peak traffic times
Highlights new products, reinforces with staff the need to share upcoming events with customers.
Complies with all store policies and procedures.
Ensures Store Standards are followed.
Maintains confidentiality in all matters pertaining Lina’s Italian Market, Lina's Italian Mercato & Linas Italian SuperMercato
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications · Prior successful food service, retail, grocery experience





· Demonstrated effective training, coaching and conflict resolution skills

· Highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment

· Results oriented team player

· Ability to work adaptable work schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call

· Strong communication skills

· Excellent guest services skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladder

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour
