Battalia Workforce is currently hiring General Labourers for a high-rise construction project in Ottawa. We are staffing for a very reputable construction developer in Ottawa. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced construction setting and supporting the project from the early stages through completion.
Responsibilities
Perform general labour duties on an active high-rise construction site
Assist skilled trades and site crews as required
Load, unload, move, and organize materials
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling
Help with demolition, deliveries, and basic construction tasks
Use basic hand tools safely and effectively
Follow direction from supervisors and site management
Follow all health and safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications
Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset
High-rise construction experience is an asset
Physically capable of lifting, carrying, standing, and performing manual labour throughout the day
Comfortable working at heights and in an active construction workplace
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work safely and maintain a clean job site
