The Resort

Municipality of Whistler offers a casual Skate Host role in their Recreation department, reporting to the Guest Services Coordinator. Candidates should demonstrate solid ice-skating abilities and a passion for guest service. This role requires availability for at least two shifts weekly, including weekends, for effective service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise ice activities and maintain safety for guests
Conduct skate rentals and assist with equipment use
Enforce operational rules and provide first aid when necessary
Keep the skate shop and lobby organized and presentable
Engage positively with guests and staff to foster community Requirements:
Must possess robust ice-skating skills
Previous experience in guest service preferred
Current Emergency First Aid certification required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
