Shape the future of Indigenous education as Humber’s Indigenous Student Outreach Officer. Engage with communities and enhance program awareness to support prospective Indigenous learners. This full time role focuses on developing recruitment initiatives targeted towards Indigenous populations.
You will engage with various stakeholders, provide pre-admission advising, and craft meaningful connections with prospective students and their families. Your lived experiences and dedication to Indigenous education will guide your efforts in creating impactful recruitment strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage recruitment initiatives for Indigenous students
Conduct outreach programs at schools and community events
Provide transparent information on Humber’s programs to prospective applicants
Collaborate with Indigenous communities and organizations
Participate in recruitment events and deliver presentations Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related areas
At least 2 years of experience in student recruitment or outreach
First Nations, Métis, or Inuit lived experience
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Access to reliable vehicle and a valid G driver’s license Support Indigenous education by leveraging your skills and experience at Humber's vibrant community.
