Responsibilities
Greet guests with a friendly and energetic attitude as they arrive, making them feel valued and comfortable
Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times, ensuring all guests are attended to promptly
Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, or general inquiries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming environment
Communicate effectively with restaurant staff to relay guest needs and special requests
Assist in managing waitlists and seating charts during busy hours to maximize guest satisfaction
Requirements
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
