Take impactful steps in human trafficking prevention as an Assessment Specialist, reporting directly to the Regional IMPACT Director. Engage with at-risk individuals and deliver essential services in the field. In this role, your primary focus will be on proactive outreach and victim engagement in identified trafficking hotspots.
You will assess potential victims, maintain confidentiality, and interact with community partners. This position also entails attending training and workshops to stay informed on best practices in trauma-informed care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform outreach initiatives in human trafficking hotspots
Assess and document needs of potential victims
Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information
Collaborate with community resources and service providers
Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in human services
Five years of experience preferred in a related area
Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
Must possess a valid driver’s license Support victims and strengthen community resource connections in your role as a Human Trafficking Assessment Specialist.
