Assist students in their academic journey as a Grader/Marker for WOMN 1600 at the University of Manitoba. This role requires expertise in grading and empathy towards student concerns. The Department of Women's and Gender Studies seeks a Grader/Marker for Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies in the Social Sciences. Positions offer up to 40 hours weekly from September 14 to 18, 2026, with a total of 54 hours expected.
Responsibilities include grading assignments, providing written feedback, and consulting with students on their academic work. Key Responsibilities:
Meet with supervisors for orientation and guidelines
Grade tests, exams, and projects submitted by students
Provide written feedback on grading quality
Maintain scheduled consultation times for student support
Assist in producing tests and projects under supervision Requirements:
Academic qualifications in relevant grading fields
Empathetic approach to students' instructional needs
Solid proficiency in English language skills
