Responsibilities
Safely operate Class-1 commercial vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Transport freight efficiently across local, regional, or national routes, ensuring timely deliveries
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems
Utilize forklift and heavy equipment operation skills for loading and unloading cargo when necessary




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues promptly
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, cargo details, and delivery documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules

Requirements
Valid Class-1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and compliance
Physical ability to lift heavy cargo and perform vehicle inspections regularly
