Join Offworld Industries as a Game Backend Engineer, specializing in microservices for live-service gaming platforms. Utilize your Node.js skills to take our backend to the next level. We seek a talented Game Backend Engineer to take charge of our live-service game’s backend operations.

This full time position will involve modernizing our infrastructure and ensuring real-time performance for our games, including "Squad" and other upcoming titles. You will work closely with our Vancouver development team and coordinate with Tencent’s cloud infrastructure teams. Key Responsibilities:
Enhance existing stateful architecture for better performance
Lead the development of backend functionalities
Transition to up-to-date CI/CD deployment methods
Implement thorough testing protocols to eliminate failures
Work with Tencent to align on technical solutions Requirements:
At least 5 years of backend software experience
Expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid understanding of distributed caching strategies
NoSQL database management experience
Bilingual in Mandarin and English Drive backend improvements and foster cross-border collaboration at Offworld Industries.
