We are seeking a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Floral Assistant to join our team. As a floral assistant, you will support our lead florists in designing, preparing, and maintaining floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, corporate events, holidays, and daily orders.
This is a hands-on role that requires a love for flowers, a good eye for design, and the ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and assembly of floral arrangements and bouquets
Unpack, trim, and care for fresh flowers and greenery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and flower cooler
Help set up floral installations for events and deliveries
Manage inventory of floral supplies and report shortages
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients in-store or during deliveries
Support florists if with daily tasks and special projects as needed
Film floral arrangements, bouquets, workshops, and behind-the-scenes content.
Create short-form videos and reels for social media
Robust communication and interpersonal skills. Confident in independently leading and teaching small workshops
Requirements:
Passion for flowers and floral design
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design instructions
Comfortable working on your feet and lifting buckets or boxes of flowers
Previous experience in a flower shop or similar environment is required, at least have 1 year expericece.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work weekends or holidays if needed
